As our Senior Account Analyst, you will be responsible for managing a set of AWL’s largest and most strategic customer relationships. Along with growing and strengthening these strategic relationships, you will have the unique opportunity to apply your deep analytical skills to optimize AWL’s revenue and profit from these customers on an ongoing basis. While you will be managing highly strategic accounts, formal account management experience is not required. What is required is the right combination of business savvy and data analysis skills that will allow you to objectively analyze situations and present win-win situations for both AWL and our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize revenue and profit from assigned accounts through deep data analysis.
  • Develop and deepen strategic relationships with assigned accounts.
  • Conduct regular account reviews both with customers and internally on a scheduled and as needed basis.
  • Work with AWL marketing to tune AWL consumer and agent marketing programs in order to better optimize assigned accounts.
  • Work with AWL engineering to spec and implement necessary system enhancements in order to better manage and optimize assigned accounts.
  • Analyze, monitor, and report regularly both internally and externally on key metrics by account.
  • Stay abreast of insurance industry trends and changes as they affect assigned accounts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in highly analytical, metrics and finance driven roles. Those with a background in Business Analysis, Financial Market (Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds) Analysis, Financial Analysis, and Data Analysis are well suited.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and abilities.
  • Excellent customer service and account management skills and abilities.
  • Highly organized self-starter.
  • Ability to operate independently and in a team environment with little supervision.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and able to turn customer problems into win-win situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp diverse and complex business models
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong written & oral communications and presentations skills.
  • Ability to set priorities, multi-task, and maintain flexibility in a changing environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience working with databases and performing SQL Queries is preferred.
  • Ability to travel when needed.
  • Bachelors Degree required, ideally in Marketing or Business.
